OTCC at RSA: International Leaders Convene on Critical Infrastructure Security

At RSA Conference, OTCC and the McCrary Institute for Cyber & Critical Infrastructure Security convened international government and industry leaders for a closed-door roundtable on critical infrastructure security. The invitation-only session brought together a cross-section of senior government officials and private sector experts to engage in the kind of frank, high-level exchange that rarely happens in open forums.

The discussion focused on the growing interdependencies across global infrastructure, the evolving threat landscape driven by nation-state and hybrid actors, and the urgent need to elevate operational technology (OT) within national security and resilience strategies. As critical systems become more interconnected across borders and sectors, the consequences of a successful attack on one can cascade rapidly to others, underscoring why this conversation demands international attention.

Participants also explored how trusted international partnerships can strengthen real-time information sharing and improve collective defense. The ability to share threat intelligence quickly and act on it across jurisdictions remains one of the most important and most underdeveloped tools available to defenders of critical infrastructure.

A strong throughline emerged from the conversation: no country can tackle these challenges alone. Continued coordination among allies will be essential to securing the systems that underpin our economies and national security. OTCC remains committed to fostering the kind of trusted, cross-border dialogue that turns shared concern into coordinated action.
